Join us for Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.

Join our MOPS group, on November 19th from 8-10am, as we spend two hours packing food for children around the world. You must pre-register in order to attend. Please go to volunteer.fmsc.org and use the join code of 178035 to find our group. Older children (2nd grade and up) may join us as well but need to be registered just as you would register yourself.

MOPS Garage Sale

Are you cleaning out closets to make room for fall and winter clothes? Do you have toys that need a new home to prepare for new ones that will find their way into your house this Christmas? Maybe you have furniture or other larger items that you've been meaning to get rid of but you've just never found the time. Well now is the time! Every item you donate will help us raise money to support our MOPS group.

Have you Registered Yet?

MOPS is starting soon! Have you registered? If not you can either register online or you can stop by the registration table at Valley Springs over the next three Sundays. While we always welcome walk ins, it really does help if you pre-register as we are better able to plan for the first day and assign table groups.

We would also love for you to pass on the information about MOPS registration to at least one friend. What mom in your life could use support, encouragement and friendship of other women in the same stage of life?

Upcoming Garage Sale Fundraiser

As the new MOPS year begins, there will be more detailed information coming out about our Garage Sale. However, I wanted to encourage you to begin putting aside things you might be ready to part with to donate to our group for this sale. All items, baby or not, would be greatly appreciated, especially larger items that would sell for a higher price. If we are successful, we will not need to do a whole lot of fundraising this year. Our goal is to make at least $1000! Please spread the word to your friends and families that we are having this sale and looking for donations.

Summer Play Dates

Summer play dates have been posted on the Event Calendar page. Please join us through out the summer to let the kids burn off energy. Make sure to invite your friends even if they are not MOPS moms. A printed schedule will be available at MOPS this Friday.

Mom's Night Out - Bunco Night

Grab your girlfriends and join us, there is no need to be a MOPS member to come and play.
